Here's to Life and Here's to Lynchburg
This past Thursday I was lucky enough to return to Virginia before leaving for Spain. I first went to Ashburn to see my oldest sister Morgan and spend some time there and said goodbye. Friday morning we headed to Lynchburg and I went right to my home away from home, Lynchburg College.
It feels so odd not being at school with the rest of my Lynchburg family, and just being a temporary visitor this time. I had Friday morning to say all of my "Hellos" around campus. I met up with my best friends Lisa, Sarah and Hannah first, then got to spend time with my boyfriend Danny. Along the way I ran into many of my friends, Res Life staff and Kara Hoxworth, who has helped me with so much of my study abroad preparation.
I was so excited to head to one of my favorite places, Smith Mountain Lake, with my family and boyfriend. We enjoyed the Virginia sun, great food, and tons of laughs.
Saturday night felt like any normal night back at LC, which was so nice to share with my girlfriends.
Saturday I ate pancakes with friends, spent some time around campus, went on a date to Waterstone Pizza, and went to Liberty Mountain for the first time.

This weekend back in Lynchburg was absolutely amazing. I am so blessed to have this family and school to come back to in January, and I am sure going to miss it! I chose the best place to do life, make friends, and call home. Thanks for the love and support Lynchburg; you really make saying "see you soon" so hard!
So "Here's to life and here's to Lynchburg!" This Friday I will officially begin my new adventure in Granada.. wish me luck!
