I'm Back!

Hey everyone! To start: I have bounced around between blogs, facebook, instagram, twitter and more, for years now. I wanted to update my website and have finally decided to stick with this format. The title of this blog, “Girl Made In Utica // Citizen of The World” should give you some idea of where this is going. I was born in Utica, New York, spent the first 18 years of my life here, moved to Lynchburg, Virginia for college, then recently returned home. I am back living with my parents, and actually really enjoying it. My new job, International Admissions Counselor at Mohawk Valley Community College, keeps me busy during the days. Nights and weekends are spent exploring all of the new things that Utica has to offer. I was hesitant about moving back to Central New York, but have been pleasantly surprised by growth, optimism, more young professionals staying local, and new, upbeat businesses and events.
